The information you share with PaarGespräch – such as your conversations, your situation, etc. – will only be used to improve your experience within the app. This helps us to provide you with personalized support, coping strategies and insights tailored to your needs.

We place the highest value on the security of your data. We use robust encryption methods (AES) to protect your information both when it is stored on our servers and when it is transferred between your device and our servers.

4. your conversations are confidential
Your interactions with PaarGespräch are private. We do not read or monitor your conversations to provide you with a safe space in which you can express yourself freely. Session conversations and diary entries are also stored in AES encrypted form.

- No data use for AI training: We do not use your personal data to train external AI models.
- Account deletion: If you delete your account, all your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems.

8. use of Google Firebase and OpenAI
Our app uses Google Firebase to securely store data such as email addresses, first names and interaction data. Firebase is a service of Google LLC and can store data in the USA or the EU. Google is certified under the Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure an adequate level of data protection. To provide our services, we use technologies from OpenAI, a provider of AI services, in particular for the processing of text and voice data. OpenAI is certified according to SOC 2 Type 2 and offers a contractual assurance of compliance with the GDPR and other data protection laws via a Data Processing Addendum (DPA). Further information on OpenAI’s data security can be found on the OpenAI Security page. Processing is carried out exclusively to ensure the functionality of the app. Your data will not be used or passed on for other purposes.
